There are no right answers to this little “quiz” and it won’t tell you anything about yourself or what kind of anything you are… Just a few silly questions.

On The Bailout

Today on Fox News Grover Norquist had a most excellent analogy:

It’s like if Obama, Pelosi, and Reid went to one side of a lake and each took a bucket of water and then went to the other side of the lake and held a press conference and made a big deal out of putting the water into the lake.

If you think the lake has any more water in it than it had at the beginning of the exercise…

Monday Morning Musings

What a week that was.

Harry Reid refused to seat Roland Burris as the Junior Senator from Illinois.

Governor Rod Blagojevich was impeached. The first Governor from Illinois to ever be impeached.

We got back to normal after Christmas vacation. Back to school, back to work.

Movies we watched this past week: Pineapple Express (funny stoner movie), Hamlet 2 (not bad at all), Righteous Kill (DeNiro and Pacino starring together – great film – great twist), Bangkok Dangerous (lots of killing), Disaster Movie (good stupid movie, lots of pop culture references).

Sea Kittens for IEATAPETA Day

The annual International Eat A Tasty Animal for PETA day is Sunday, March 15, 2009.

With PETA’s latest lame attempt at trying to “guilt” us into becoming vegans, I think that this year’s IEATAPETA day should be devoted to “Sea Kittens” of all kinds. PETA is also trying to get schools with names like Whitefish and Spearfish to rename themselves Sea Kitten…

Let’s have Fish and Chips, scallops, lobster, salmon, crab legs (especially those giant ones from Alaska), Maryland Crab Cakes, Cedar plank Tilapia, Orange Roughy, Tuna, Shark, Abalone, Sushi, and, of course, Catfish.

Let’s get a Sea Kitten Recipe Carnival going! I’ll host here and we can publish on March 1st so people can have 2 weeks to decide and shop for what they’ll have on IEATAPETA day.

Let’s have a deadline of 2/25 to get the recipes/links to your blogpost recipe so I can get them assembled for the 1st. Send to seakittens *at* musing-minds *dot* com.
